How we began…

Resinate with Love began as a fundraising project in 2023 by Khadija, under the name Handmade with Love Fundraising. We created resin earrings, trays, clips and pins to support a number of causes including: Syrian refugees, commissioning a water well for a small community in Sri Lanka, and for our local mosque in Brisbane at the annual Ramadan fundraiser. Jump forward five months and we were a registered small business! We are truly grateful for the support and endless encouragement that has led us to this stage.

We have been present at local markets and intend to continue this through 2024 as we establish ourselves as a part of Brisbane’s handmade community. We’ve also been incredibly honoured to have our designs feature in handmade local businesses across Brisbane. Check out the details of our upcoming markets and stockists here and on Instagram.

Our Vision

Our vision as a small business is to bring joy and spread love (as cheesy as it sounds!) to our local and growing community by helping them find a passion for accessorising as much as Khadija does. We aim to create wearable art that is different but beautiful, to help you hold your head up high and absolutely power through your day!

As a local business, we want to provide quality jewellery and flower pressing services to our wonderful customers, share our processes and creative inspiration and remain genuinely handmade and authentic in our art.

Every single piece we create goes through quite a process, from designing, setting up, mixing resin (at the right temperature and humidity levels), pouring, making a mess, cleaning said mess, waiting for it to cure, coating, sanding, polishing, washing and then designing into the earrings you see as the finished product. We use quality Australian made resin and reuse materials to produce less waste as much as possible. We truly hope that you love our pieces as much as we do!

Further to this, we aim to continue to support charities both locally and internationally, and have planned to take a portion of profits from every sale to commission another water well overseas in 2024. With your ongoing support, we can work together to give back and keep focused on helping others, like we intended from the very beginning.
